Eating disorders are not uncommon among teens. Many teens suffer from these types of conditions. One of these causes stems from a teen's fear of becoming fat. Bulimia Nervosa

Bulimia is another type of eating disorder. It is similar to Anorexia because the teenager will become obsessed with their weight. They will be afraid to gain weight. Instead of not eating, this disorder focuses on binge eating. Binge eating is when a person eats a large amount of food at one time. A person who has this type of eating disorder will gorge on food and then get rid of it afterward. This process will include vomiting the food back up or taking laxatives to get rid of the food.
