Elk Mountain Academy (EMA) is a Christian residential treatment facility that provides effective rehabilitation-services to troubled girls (between the ages of 13 and 17) with behavior, academic & trauma recovery issues.

For 20 years, Elk Mountain Academy Staff Has Helped Girls Overcome Life-Controlling Issues. At Elk Mountain, girls receive an individual treatment plan aligned with their medical, emotional, and psychological needs.

Our multi-disciplinary staff is dedicated to helping each resident embark on a new and more productive path in life.

Our clinical staff, both on and off-campus, is made up of psychiatric specialists, primary care physicians, a dentist, an orthodontist, & licensed psychotherapists, as well as teachers, mentors, and residential care staff.

Troubled girls in our care attend individual, group, and family therapy sessions with our staff of highly skilled professional counselors. We also provide specialized help for students dealing with addiction and abandonment issues.

That said, we at EMA are proud to inform parents that our computer-based academic program is staffed by highly experienced and licensed teachers. With one-on-one assistance from our academic staff, girls at EMA are able to catch up on their schooling, repair grades from previous years, and advance in their schooling or even graduate much sooner than they would have attending school elsewhere.

Additionally, we provide regular academic progress reports that we make available to all of the parents of our students.

Elk Mountain Academy is a Christian residential school and therapeutic intervention for troubled girls. EMA offers counseling teenage girls struggling with anger, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), attention deficit, attention deficit disorder (ADD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), substance abuse, depression, reactive attachment disorder (RAD), intermittent explosive disorder (IED), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorders, self-harm, and or general rebellion.

Elk Mountain Academy uses a Christ-centered therapeutic/educational approach to reconciling the hearts of the daughters to the Heart of God.
